Getting ready for London

Jon CurtisComment

So been a busy few days. Last week I was invited to Show at a Christmas Fair in Fulham Palace, London. Been busy stocking up on some smaller bowls over the last dew days. Wasn't sure would get them all ready in time. But have just turned off the kiln after the glaze firing so fingers crossed the kiln Gods have been kind!! You can never have to many bowls!!

If your up in London, and fancy popping by to say hi and have a proper look at a few pieces, I will there for the preview show on Wednesday evening, and all day Thursday, 10.30-8. Be great to see you.

Thank you.

Welcome to my first ever blog, exciting times ahead for my world of ceramics.  I hope you will find them informative and relevant over the months to come.

So, welcome to my Stunning new Website, brought to you by the talented Jen Lewis at Sunside studio, with help from The Award Winning Photographer, Jamie Bott; and also The Award Winning Chef, Noel Corston (you will see his stunning food plated up and sat on the pass within my site).  My website has enabled me to bring my handmade ceramics craft closer to your home and opens a window for you to learn and experience more about the creativity of stoneware ceramics.  Its all a bit new to me finally embracing the world of blogs, as words have never been my forté as naturally I am happier sat at my wheel, with a lump of clay in front of me!

With the start of the new BBC2 series “The Great Pottery Throw Down” it couldn't have been a better time to bring you my new site, where you will have the chance to book Pottery Lessons for yourself, and create some ceramics of your own, with one on one tuition, and the chance to take home your own pottery.

Many thanks for visiting.  I will keep you updated over the coming weeks with new work, and the dates of an upcoming studio SALE where you can bag a few bargains of your own.
