Hi folks, I promised the other day that many of the new pieces you saw over the weekend would be uploaded to the site. That task is now complete, and there is now a large selection of pieces to choose from. For those people in your life that are a little trickier to but for, I have many gift vouchers for pottery lessons printed up and awaiting new homes.

It's been a while!!

Evening all, apologies for my slack updating in the last few months.

Recentky I have begun making a lot of tableware, supplying several restaurants, and have been lucky to work with Paul Ainsworth, making plates, scallop dishes and sauce jugs for No6 Padstow. Which has been a great privilege.

I have now come to the end of my Christmas markets, and will endeavour to update my website show with current stock over the next few days. I also have gift vouchers back in stock, for lessons. We all have those people in our lives that are a little tricky to buy for!! ( that would probably be me in our house!!)

to those of you that signed up for the mailing list apologies, I had a technical issue, that I didn't realise I had. Assumed had all been going out, but realised wasn't the case! I will rectify this soon!

Apologies for the lack of updates, Been a crazy couple of months.

Had a great commission for Chef Paul Ainsworth down in Padstow, that has been much bigger task than I first realised, But a couple more firings and will finally be able to deliver and let them get to use with the selection of new plates, jugs, and scallop dishes.

Had a busy few weeks of lessons, and Croyde Craft Market is back up and running, so every Thursday I can be found in the centre of Croyde, with a selection of work,

Will try and get back to keeping you updated on a more regular basis. and to those of you that have signed up to the mailing list, apologies I have only just realised that emails not been sending, will sort asap.

So the festivities are all over and nearly got rid of the trusty Christmas cold??? Nearly!! Time to get my hands dirty again.  Hope everyone had a great break, and not finding it to hard getting back into the swing of normality ?

I have an approaching deadline of the end of the month to get a selection of pieces ready for the opening of the Jill Rousseau Gallery on Cooper St in Bideford. Have had a new clay delivery from Dobles in St Agnes, which I am loving. Used it many moons ago at school, and had forgotten which clay it was, until I was reminded by Steve Sheridan our old teacher when he visited from Australia. Will be my clay of choice from now on for sure. Just the damp cold weather not helping anything dry in the studio at the moment, so hoping not going to delay me to much?

Lessons are all back up and running, and many of the lucky people who received vouchers for Christmas are already getting some great results. Will also be updating the shop images soon, so keep an eye out for that.

Happy Christmas

Getting ready for London

Jon CurtisComment

So been a busy few days. Last week I was invited to Show at a Christmas Fair in Fulham Palace, London. Been busy stocking up on some smaller bowls over the last dew days. Wasn't sure would get them all ready in time. But have just turned off the kiln after the glaze firing so fingers crossed the kiln Gods have been kind!! You can never have to many bowls!!

If your up in London, and fancy popping by to say hi and have a proper look at a few pieces, I will there for the preview show on Wednesday evening, and all day Thursday, 10.30-8. Be great to see you.
